Dedicated to providing delicious coffee for your enjoyment.
We consciously source every coffee we offer. Our focus is to source unique single origin coffees that are traceable to the producer. We roast our coffee in a way that stays true to both the origin and the producer who worked hard to deliver quality coffee for you to enjoy. Our farmers are paid a premium price for high quality coffee and we want to tell their story. It is our belief that this makes for great coffee, successful business and strong relationships with both our clients and producers. Exceptional Quality With Accountability We stamp every bag with a roast date so that you can be sure that you are buying a fresh roasted product. RED ENGINE'S focus is specific. Coffee is our craft and we specialize in coffee alone. We simply want to source traceable, high quality coffee, roast it to its best profile, deliver it fresh and teach you how to brew it properly using a variety of different methods. We believe good quality coffee needs to be paired with high quality equipment. We can help you source quality equipment that fits within your budget. Everyday we are learning more, and we will continually educate both ourselves and our customers about everything coffee. |
Red Engine Team...
PAUL DEMAERE - Owner, roaster & green coffee buyer. After a decade of roasting as a hobby, the DeMaere family jumped in and purchased a commercial coffee roaster in 2010. A few years later, Paul took the opportunity to visit El Salvador in-order to establish a direct trading relationship with owner & producer Sr. Miguel Menendez. Understanding and observing first hand the entire process from farm to cup has been a rewarding experience.
JOEL, NATHAN & CALEB - The DeMaere boys, are an intricate part of the Red Engine team and enjoy helping out with the family business on a daily basis. When they are not at school they are heavily involved in competitive Judo and have been fortunate enough to travel to various places around the world to compete.
SONDER COFFEE TEAM - Our team members enjoy coffee culture and they want to provide you with a great coffee experience.
